Ropes for tire pulling and sledging

A solid and functional rope tow for use with a pulk or for tire training. The rope tow attaches to both sides of a pulling harness, our hiking backpacks, or hip packs, and features options for one- or two-point attachment at the other end. For tire training, one carabiner is used to attach to the tire. When used with a pulk, you can have a single attachment point at the front of a rope, or use the external D-rings on both sides at the front of the pulk hull, as found on our expedition models. Thanks to the large carabiners, the rope tow can be used with all pulks where a rope tow is desired.

Using a rope tow for a pulk:
A rope tow is a simple yet solid towing solution for use with a pulk. It provides flexibility by allowing you to move back and forth to the pulk without having to disconnect anything. The limitation is that you must be more careful when going downhill so the pulk does not overtake you from behind. In such cases, feel free to pull the pulk in front of you.

Using a rope for tire training:
A solid rope tow with elastic shock absorption that makes tire training more comfortable. An eyebolt with washers for mounting on a car tire is, of course, included. Tire training is gentle on the back and knees, but at the same time, it is highly effective training for strength and endurance. Read about tire training in the media. The package contains a complete rope with solid elastic shock absorption and 12kN high-quality carabiners. In addition, there is an extra length that can be used if you need a two-point attachment for a pulk, as mentioned above. An illustration can be found on the product packaging.

Made of solid rope with secured knots and 12kN carabiners for easy attachment to tires and a harness or hiking backpack.

An eyebolt for mounting on a tire is included.

Approx. 2.7 meters in length + travel in the elastic.

The product can be used together with the Fjellpulken Standard, Touring, Comfort, or Xpedition Pro pulk harnesses.
